In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson, attended the Farewell Ceremony for the Honourable Justice Anthony Meagher, at the Law Courts Building, Sydney.

Following this, the Governor and Mr Wilson commenced a regional visit to Bathurst, Blayney, Cowra, and Carcoar, beginning at MacKillop College, Bathurst, where they met Year 12 students from MacKillop College, Denison College, and Carenne School.

Following this, Her Excellency and Mr Wilson met Cr Jess Jenning, Mayor, Mr David Sherley, General Manager, and other members of the Bathurst Regional Council, at the Chifley Home and Education Centre, Bathurst.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Wilson hosted a Vice Regal Community Reception at Abercrombie House, Bathurst.
