In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council, at Government House.

Afterwards, the Governor, in conjunction with the Rhodes Scholarship Selection Committee, conducted interviews for the 2024 Rhodes Scholarship, at Government House.
