On Thursday, 12 March, the Governor and Mr Wilson visited the fire affected communities of Adelong and Batlow.

In the morning, they walked along the main street of Adelong and spent time talking with local business owners and community members.

Later they joined business owners, community representatives and local emergency services personnel, for a BBQ lunch at the Batlow Hotel.

In the afternoon, they took the opportunity to visit a fire affected orchard in Batlow.
