As Patron of Hearing Matters Australia, the Governor attended World Hearing Day Celebrations at the Australian Hearing Hub, Macquarie University.

The full-day program included expert panel discussions on hearing loss, maintaining ear and hearing health, and discussions on lived experience policy impacts; free hearing checks; exhibits of technologies to improve hearing; support service stalls; and information sessions with researchers and audiologists.
