In opening the 102nd Annual Country Women's Association of NSW Conference in Coffs Harbour, Her Excellency, as Patron, was delighted to recognise the extraordinary 102-year history of the CWA in NSW, revisiting some of the positive changes that have been achieved as a result of CWA advocacy.

In thanking delegates, she quoted from the first woman elected to the NSW Parliament in 1925, Millicent Preston-Stanley, who said: “women’s questions are national questions, and national questions are women’s questions.”
