On 1 July 2022, the Governor and Mr Wilson opened Royal Rehab LifeWorks, a state-of-the-art advanced technology hub designed to improve the rehabilitation outcomes of people impacted by life-changing illnesses, injuries or disability. The launch featured a demonstration of 25 pieces of technology, never before seen in one facility in Australia, including robotic exoskeletons, body weight support systems, upper limb robotics and virtual reality technologies.
