On the morning of Saturday, 10 June 2023, a historic Ceremonial Parade honouring the King’s Birthday, was held at Government House. Front and centre was a 96-member tri-service Royal Guard comprised of young adult cadets from across NSW. The Scots College Sydney Pipes and Drums and the  NSW Police Band provided music and an RAAF flypast and 21 gun salute added to the occasion.

This was the first 'King's Birthday Parade' held in NSW since 1951.
