On Monday, 15 November 2021,  HMAS Sirius (I) completed a lap of Sydney Harbour as part of the ship's final tour of Australia ahead of decommissioning in December. The Governor, as Honorary Commodore, Rear Admiral Mark Hammond, AO, RAN, Commander of the Australian Fleet, and Navy personnel were along the harbour front, to bid HMAS Sirius farewell.
