Boree Creek and Henty

On Sunday, 23 May 2021, the Governor and Mr Wilson visited the Riverina Community of Boree Creek for the unveiling of a Memorial Sculpture of the late the Honourable Timothy Fischer AC, former Deputy Prime Minister of Australia.

In the afternoon, it was off to Henty to launch “Henty’s Heroes”, a book by Mrs Yvonne Booth OAM, about the stories of World War 1 soldiers who came from Henty.
