On Australia Day, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Wilson, spoke at the WugulOra Morning Ceremony at Barangaroo, presented trophies at the Oz Day 10K wheelchair race in The Rocks, and presided over an Australia Day Citizenship Ceremony at Government House.

In the afternoon Her Excellency and Mr Wilson attended the Camden Council Australia Day Ambassador Lunch, visited the Yabun Festival in Victoria Park, and then finished the day at Australia Day Live at the Sydney Opera House.

Throughout the afternoon the AustraliaDay@theHouse event was held at Government House with thousands of visitors exploring the House and gardens.
