In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.

Subsequently, the Governor, in conjunction with the Rhodes Scholarship Selection Committee, conducted interviews for the shortlisted candidates of the 2023 Rhodes Scholarship, at Government House.

Later in the afternoon, Her Excellency chaired The Sybil Morrison Lecture, held by the New South Wales Bar Association at Selbourne Chambers.
