In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council, at Government House.

Afterwards, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Dennis Wilson, received Mr James Munro, Consul-General of New Zealand, accompanied by Ms Priya Kaur-Jones, for an incoming courtesy call, at Government House.

Later, in the morning, Her Excellency received Professor Kate Senior, Interim Director, Institute for Regional Futures and Co-Director, Purai Indigenous History Centre, and Dr Daphne Daniels, a Nunggubuyu leader from the community of Ngukurr in South-East Arnhem Land, at Government House. 

Subsequently, the Governor received Mrs Hataya Khusakul, Consul-General of Thailand, for a farewell courtesy call, at Government House.
