In the morning, His Excellency the Honourable Andrew Bell, Lieutenant-Governor of New South Wales, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council, at Government House.

In the afternoon, as a consequence of the departure from New South Wales of His Excellency the Lieutenant-Governor, Her Honour the Honourable Justice Julie Ward, Administrator, assumed the administration of the Government of the State.
