In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AO QC, Governor of New South Wales, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.

Afterwards, the Governor received Ms Sonia Mackay-Coghill, Vice-President Enterprise and Development, Edith Cowan University, accompanied by Ms Claudia Bertorello-Kell, Strategic Communications Manager, at Government House.

Later in the morning, Her Excellency and Mr Dennis Wilson received Ms Sarah Lance, CEO of St John Ambulance (NSW), and Mr Sean McGuiness.

Subsequently, the Governor and Mr Wilson received Mr Richard Colbran, CEO NSW Rural Doctors Network, accompanied by Dr John Curnow, Chair, and Dr Lauren Cone, Treasurer.

In the afternoon, Her Excellency hosted the fifth of six visits by groups of student leaders from State, Catholic and Independent schools across NSW participating in the Secondary School Leadership Program.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Wilson attended the Sydney Film Festival Opening Night Gala: Screening of ‘Palm Beach’, at the State Theatre.

In the afternoon, Mr Wilson received Ms Pauline James, State President of the RSL NSW Auxiliaries, at Government House.
