In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council, at Government House.

Afterwards, the Governor received Mr Brenton Charlton, Commissioner, Mr Mark Gibson ESM, former Commissioner, and Mr Stuart Clark AM, Chair, of VRA Rescue NSW, at Government House.

Later, Her Excellency received John and Edwina Macarthur-Stanham from Camden Park, accompanied by Dr Stephen Utick, Vice President International Camellia Society (Oceania), and James and Leonie Furber, Committee Members, Camellia Ark Australia, for the presentation of a camellia, celebrating the bicentenary of the first recorded plantings of camellias in New South Wales.
