In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council, at Government House.

Afterwards, the Governor received Dr Janakiraman Sarvesvaran, Consul-General of India, accompanied by Mrs Valarmathi Janakiraman, and Mr Niravkumar Sutariya, Consul (Commercial), at Government House.

Later, Her Excellency received Mr Gianluca Rubagotti, Consul-General of Italy, at Government House.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Wilson, as official guests, attended the 2024 Opening of Law Term Dinner, hosted by The Law Society of NSW, at the Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour.
