In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council, at Government House.

Afterwards, the Governor received His Excellency Dr Markus Ederer, Ambassador of Germany, and Mr Axel Zeidler, Consul-General of Germany, for the Consul-General’s Farewell Call, at Government House.

In the afternoon, Her Excellency and Mr Dennis Wilson commenced a regional visit to the Mid North Coast, beginning with a visit to the Coffs Harbour Uniting Church Soup Place, Coffs Harbour.

Following this, the Vice Regal Couple met with Coffs Harbour City Council representatives, toured the new Coffs Harbour cultural and civic space Yarrila Place, and visited the Coffs Harbour Health Campus, where they spoke with staff and patients, viewed presentations on Stroke and Pacemaker Services, and met members of the Coffs Harbour Branch of the United Hospital Auxiliaries.
