In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AO QC, Governor of New South Wales, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.

Subsequently, the Governor received Mr Nicolas Croizer, Consul-General of France, for a farewell call, at Government House.

Later in the morning, Her Excellency and Mr Dennis Wilson received His Excellency Mr Reiichiro Takahashi, Ambassador of Japan, accompanied by Mrs Masako Takahashi.

Afterwards, the Governor received Mr Owen Feeney, Consul-General of Ireland, at Government House.
