In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council, at Government House.

Afterwards, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Dennis Wilson, jointly placed wreaths at the ANZAC Memorial, alongside Her Royal Highness Princess Astrid of Belgium, following a New South Wales and Belgian commemorative service.

Subsequently, Her Excellency, accompanied by Mr Wilson, as Patron of Redfern Jarjum College and the NSW Children’s Week Council, launched a Mural painted by students from Redfern Jarjum College, at the Office of the NSW Advocate for Children and Young People. Later, the Governor received The Honourable David Harris MP, Minister for Aboriginal Affairs and Treaty; Gaming and Racing; Veterans; Medical Research, and the Central Coast, at Government House.
