In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of New South Wales, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.

Later in the morning, the Governor and Mr Dennis Wilson received Dr Duc Hai Trinh, Consul-General of Vietnam, accompanied by Mrs Thi Linh Chi Vu, the Consul-General's Spouse, for a farewell call, at Government House.

In the afternoon, Her Excellency made remarks at The Annual Honourable Barry O'Keefe AM QC Virtual Memorial Lecture, at the Thomas Moore Law School, Australian Catholic University, North Sydney.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Wilson hosted a dinner in honour of Shane Fitzsimmons AFSM, former Commissioner of the Rural Fire Service, at Government House.
