In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council, at Government House.

Later in the morning, the Governor commenced a Regional Visit program in the New England region.

In the afternoon, Her Excellency met with members of the Armidale Regional Council, at the Tattersalls Hotel, Armidale.

Later in the afternoon, the Governor toured the University of New England, with a focus on the Ezidi Social Inclusion and Pathways Program, the Oorala Aboriginal Centre, and the Centre for Animal Research and Training.
