In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council, at Government House.

Following this, the Governor received Mrs Milena De Gonzaga Soares Abrantes, Consul-General, and Ms Nidia Peregrina de Castro Andrade, Vice-Consul, of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, at Government House.

In the afternoon, Her Excellency received Professor Diane Austin-Broos, Honorary Consul of Jamaica, accompanied by Mr. Frank Broos, at Government House.

In the evening, the Governor attended a performance of Oscar by the Australian Ballet, at the Sydney Opera House.
