In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AO QC, Governor of New South Wales, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.
Later in the morning, the Governor, as Patron, presented awards at the Duke of Edinburgh’s Gold Award Ceremony, at St Stephen’s Uniting Church, Sydney. Afterwards, the Governor hosted a reception for recipients and guests, at Government House. For further information visit: www:dukeofed.com.au
In the afternoon, the Governor received His Excellency Mr Luke Daunivalu, High Commissioner for Fiji.
Later in the afternoon, Her Excellency, as Patron, hosted the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award 60th Anniversary Recognition Ceremony, at Government House.
In the evening, the Governor attended the Sustainable Urbanism Roadshow – ‘Exploring Collaboration with Government’, hosted by Prince’s Trust Australia and The Department of Planning, Industry and Environment, at NSW Parliament House.
