In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AO QC, Governor of New South Wales, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.

Later in the morning, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Dennis Wilson, received the Address in Reply from the Legislative Assembly, in a ceremony at Government House. Afterwards, Her Excellency received The Honourable Niall Blair MLC.

In the afternoon, the Governor attended a lunch with female members of the NSW Consular Corps, hosted by the US Consul-General, in Double Bay.

In the evening, Her Excellency, accompanied by Mr Wilson, delivered the guest address at the St Vincent’s Curran Foundation 35^th Annual Spring Reception, at The Royal Sydney Golf Club, Rose Bay.
