In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson toured the Darling River on the paddle boat PV Jandra.
Later in the morning, the Governor and Mr Wilson participated in a roundtable discussion with councillors of the Bourke Shire Council and members of the Nulla Nulla Local Aboriginal Land Council, at Bourke Shire Council Chambers.
In the afternoon, Her Excellency and Mr Wilson visited St Ignatius School, Bourke.
Afterwards, the Vice-Regal couple met with the Bourke Tribal Council and Maranguka Hub staff, at the Maranguka Community Hub, Bourke.
Later in the afternoon, the Governor participated in a radio interview with Bourke radio station 2WEB.
In the evening, Her Excellency and Mr Wilson hosted a Vice-Regal Reception at Diggers on the Darling, in Bourke.
In the morning, The Honourable TF Bathurst AC, Lieutenant-Governor of New South Wales presided, as Her Excellency’s deputy, at a meeting of the Executive Council, at Government House.
