In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of New South Wales, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.

Later in the morning, the Governor and Mr Dennis Wilson visited the Holy Family Catholic School, at Luddenham. Year 5 and Year 6 students made presentations about their Mock Parliament and the Governor discussed her role in the legislative process in New South Wales.
