In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council, at Government House.

Afterwards, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Dennis Wilson, attended, and laid the first wreath at, a Victory in the Pacific Commemorative Service hosted by the Cabra-Vale Diggers Club, at Cabravale Memorial Park, Cabramatta.

In the evening, Her Excellency, accompanied by Mr Wilson, attended the NSW Bar Association 2024 Sybil Morrison Lecture, at Selborne Chambers, Sydney.
