In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council, at Government House.

Later in the morning, the Governor and Mr Dennis Wilson attended the State Memorial Service for Mr David Polson AM, at the City Recital Hall, Sydney.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Wilson hosted a Reception for the Minerva Network and Chief Executive Women, at Government House.
