In the morning, in Abu Dhabi, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, met with His Excellency Badr Al Olama, Executive Director, UAE Clusters, Mubadala Investment Company and Co-Chair, Australia UAE Business Council.
In the afternoon, the Governor met with Mr Yusuff Ali M A, Chairman and Managing Director, LuLu Group International.
Later in the afternoon, Her Excellency attended a roundtable luncheon with the Australian Arab Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted by Mr Mohamed Hage OAM, President and National Chairman, at Catch at St Regis, Abu Dhabi. The luncheon was also attended by Her Excellency Heidi Venamore PSM, Australian Ambassador to the UAE, and His Excellency Abdulla Alsaboosi, UAE Ambassador to Australia.
Afterwards, the Governor inspected the LuLu Hypermarket, hosted by Dr Mohamed Althaf, Group Director, LuLu Group International, at The Mall, World Trade Centre, Abu Dhabi.
In the evening, Her Excellency, at the invitation of His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE Cabinet Member and Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, undertook a guided tour of the Sheikh Zayed Mosque and visited the Abrahamic Family House, in Abu Dhabi.
In the morning, His Excellency, the Honourable Andrew Bell, Lieutenant-Governor of New South Wales, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council, at Government House.
