In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of New South Wales, accompanied by Mr Dennis Wilson, presented the ‘One to Watch’ award, at the New South Wales Women of the Year Awards, held at the International Convention Centre, Darling Harbour.

Later in the morning, the Governor presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.

Afterwards, Her Excellency and Mr Wilson attended the State Memorial Service for the Late Jack Mundey AO, at the Sydney Town Hall.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Wilson hosted a reception for the Minerva Network, at Government House. The network supports Australian women in the business of sport.
