In the evening, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Administrator of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, accompanied by Mr Wilson, welcomed guests to Government House for the Swearing-In of the Honourable Justice Mark Leeming, Judge of Appeal, Supreme Court of New South Wales, as an Administrator of the Government of the State of New South Wales.

The Honourable Justice Julie Ward, President of the Court of Appeal, Supreme Court of New South Wales, administered the Swearing-In of the Administrator in the presence of His Excellency the Honourable Andrew Bell, Lieutenant-Governor and Chief Justice of New South Wales.
