In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AO QC, Governor of New South Wales, received Mr Peter Kaye AM, CEO of The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award - Australia, accompanied by Mr Ian Walker, NSW Executive Officer, at Government House.

Afterwards, the Governor and Mr Dennis Wilson received Mr Jim Harrowell AM, NSW Special Envoy to China.

In the afternoon, the Governor and Mr Wilson attended the 200^th Anniversary of the first convicts taking up residence at Hyde Park Barracks, at the Hyde Park Barracks Museum.

Later in the afternoon, Her Excellency, accompanied by Mr Wilson, Presided at the Swearing-In of The Honourable Justice Andrew Bell, President of the Court of Appeal, as an Administrator of the State of New South Wales, at Government House.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Wilson attended the Australian Society for Medical Research Week 2019 Gala Dinner, at the Shangri-La Hotel.
