In the evening, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson, hosted a Reception and Recital to thank Opera Australia benefactors in celebration of next year’s 25^th Anniversary of the Opera Australia Capital Fund, at Government House.

Also in the evening, Her Excellency was represented by Colonel Michael Miller LVO RFD, Official Secretary to the Governor of New South Wales, at a Reception hosted by Mrs Hataya Khusakul, Consul-General of the Kingdom of Thailand, to mark the National Day of the Kingdom of Thailand, at NSW Parliament House.
