In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, received Mr Martin Juillard, Consul-General of France, at Government House.

In the afternoon, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Dennis Wilson, presented the Australian Sports Medal to New South Wales athletes and officials who participated in the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, at a ceremony at Government House.
