In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AO QC, Governor of New South Wales, received Sir Roger Carr, Chairman, Ms Gabby Costigan MBE, Chief Executive Officer, and Mr William Gibaud OBE, Head Government Relations, of BAE Systems Australia, at Government House.

In the afternoon, the Governor received The Honourable Mark Speakman SC MP, Attorney General, and Minister for the Prevention of Domestic Violence.

In the evening, Her Excellency and Mr Dennis Wilson hosted the annual Services Reception, at Government House, to acknowledge the service of the NSW Police Force, NSW Ambulance, NSW Rural Fire Service, Fire and Rescue NSW, NSW State Emergency Service, Corrective Services NSW, Marine Rescue NSW, NSW Volunteer Rescue Association, the Red Cross, Salvation Army, St John Ambulance, the Office of the Sheriff of NSW, and the Australian Defence Force.
