In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AO QC, Governor of New South Wales, accompanied by Mr Dennis Wilson, received Ms Denise Ora, Acting Executive Director of Botanic Gardens and Centennial Parklands, accompanied by Jimmy Turner, Director of Horticulture Management, at Government House.

Afterwards, the Governor and Mr Wilson, received Mr Keizo Takewaka, Consul-General of Japan, accompanied by Mrs Miyuki Takewaka, for a farewell call, at Government House.

In the afternoon, Her Excellency and Mr Wilson hosted a lunch for the Honourable Jane Mathews AO.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Wilson launched ‘Born at the Right Time’, a memoir by Emeritus Professor Ron McCallum, at The University of Sydney Law School, Camperdown.
