In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of New South Wales, received Ms Monica Barone, Chief Executive Officer, Ms Bridget Smyth, City Architect/Design Director, Ms Hetti Perkins, Curator, and Ms Tracey Duncan, Co-chair Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Advisory Panel, from the City of Sydney, at Government House.

Later in the morning, the Governor received Her Excellency Ms Busadee Santipitaks, Ambassador of Thailand, and Mrs Tirta Rojrangsee, Minister Counsellor, Royal Thai Embassy.

In the afternoon, the Governor and Mr Dennis Wilson hosted the first of seven visits by groups of student leaders from across NSW participating in the Secondary School Leadership Program.

In the evening, Her Excellency and Mr Wilson, attended the Sydney Theatre Company performance of Fun Home, at the Roslyn Packer Theatre, Walsh Bay.
