In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of New South Wales, accompanied by Mr Dennis Wilson, delivered the Commemorative Address and laid the first wreath at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Day Service, at the Cenotaph in Martin Place.

In the afternoon, the Governor received Mr Melih Karalar, Consul-General of Turkey, for his farewell call at Government House.

In the evening, Her Excellency, accompanied by Mr Wilson, chaired the Sybil Morrison Lecture 2020, a virtual event this year, hosted by the New South Wales Bar Association.
