In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AO QC, Governor of New South Wales, hosted the 18^th YMCA NSW Youth Parliament’s Address in Reply, at Government House. YMCA NSW Youth Parliament is a youth-led, apolitical program that aims to empower young people to become advocates and change-makers in their communities.

Afterwards, the Governor received Mr Michael Lynch AO CBE, Chair, and Ms Georgina Byron, Board Member, of the Sydney Community Foundation.

Later, Her Excellency received Major General the Honourable Paul Brereton AM RFD, Regimental Colonel of the Royal New South Wales Regiment, at Government House.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Dennis Wilson attended the first performance in the Gondwana World Choral Festival’s World Showcase Series, at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music’s Verbrugghen Hall.
