Throughout the day, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson travelled to flood impacted areas of Greater Sydney, accompanied by Acting Deputy Commissioner Nicole Hogan ESM, and Acting Assistant Commissioner Michelle Egan, of the NSW State Emergency Service (SES).

In the morning, the Governor and Mr Wilson visited the Hawkesbury Local Emergency Operations Centre at Windsor, and afterwards, the NSW SES Hawkesbury Unit in Wilberforce.

In the afternoon, Her Excellency and Mr Wilson visited the NSW SES Forward Command Post at Wisemans Ferry.

Later in the afternoon, the Governor, as Patron, accompanied by Mr Wilson, hosted an Afternoon Tea to Thank Supporters of the Cornucopia Committee, at Government House. For further information visit: cornucopia.org.au
