In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AO QC, Governor of New South Wales, accompanied by Mr Dennis Wilson, attended the Corrective Services NSW Attestation Parade, at the Brush Farm Corrective Services Academy, Eastwood. The Governor was the Reviewing Officer and addressed the graduates on this occasion.

In the afternoon, the Governor and Mr Dennis Wilson hosted the second of six visits by groups of student leaders from across NSW participating in the Secondary School Leadership Program.
