In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson met with the Snowy Valleys Council, before visiting Valmar Support Services, in Tumut.

Following this, the Governor and Mr Wilson hosted a Community Lunch at the Tumut River Brewing Company and visited Franklin Public School, Tumut.

Also in the afternoon, the Honourable TF Bathurst AC QC, Lieutenant-Governor of New South Wales, hosted the fifth of six visits by groups of student leaders from across NSW participating in the Secondary School Leadership Program, at Government House.
