In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, received Her Excellency Ms Anne Grete Riise, Ambassador of Norway, and Ms Shannon Karppinen, Executive Officer, Royal Norwegian Embassy, at Government House.

Following this, the Governor received Mrs Christine Corby OAM, CEO, and Mrs Mary Purse, Chairperson, of Walgett Aboriginal Medical Service, at Government House.

Afterwards, Her Excellency and Mr Dennis Wilson hosted a Christmas Cheer Celebration for Government House volunteers, at Government House.
