In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, attended the NSW Women of the Year Awards 2024, where Her Excellency presented certificates and trophies to finalists and winners of the NSW Young Woman of the Year and NSW Community Hero Awards, at the International Convention Centre, Darling Harbour.

Following this, the Governor hosted a morning tea for finalists of the NSW Women of the Year Awards 2024, at Government House.

In the afternoon, Her Excellency hosted an afternoon tea for the Cook Society, at Government House.

In the evening, the Governor attended a performance of La Traviata by Opera Australia, at the Sydney Opera House.
