In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of New South Wales, accompanied by Mr Dennis Wilson, officially opened the Thread Together Warehouse, in Banksmeadow. Thread Together delivers new, good quality clothing and shoes to people going through a difficult time.

Later, the Governor and Mr Wilson hosted the Proclamation Day Lunch, at Government House.

In the afternoon, Her Excellency received Zoë Robinson, Advocate, and Mr Rhys Morris and Ms Evette Hanna, Senior Policy Advisors, from the Office of the New South Wales Advocate for Children and Young People, at Government House.

In the evening, Her Excellency, accompanied by Mr Wilson, officially opened the refurbished Wyalla and Dalton Hall Campus, at St Aloysius’ College, Milsons Point.
