In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AO QC, Governor of New South Wales, received Her Excellency the Honourable Dame Annette King DNZM, High Commissioner of New Zealand, accompanied by Mr Bill Dobbie, Consul-General of New Zealand, at Government House.

Later in the morning, the Governor received Mr Gu Xiaojie, Consul-General of the People’s Republic of China in Sydney; accompanied by Mr Zhao Wenfei, Deputy Consul-General and Jia Xiaopan, Vice-Consul.

In the afternoon, the Governor and Mr Dennis Wilson hosted the fourth of six visits by groups of student leaders from State, Catholic and Independent schools across NSW participating in the Secondary School Leadership Program.

In the morning, Mr Wilson received Ms Carolyn Lyons OAM, Honorary Secretary of The Order of Australia Association NSW, accompanied by Mr Ron Sharpe OAM, Regional Convenor, at Government House.
