In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson, attended a private viewing of NSW artist, James Rogers’ ‘Tunnelvision’ Exhibition, at the Drill Hall Gallery, Australian National University, Acton, ACT.
In the afternoon, the Governor and Mr Wilson attended a luncheon hosted by Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd), Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, and Mrs Linda Hurley, at Government House, Yarralumla, ACT.
Later in the afternoon, as Patron of and at the invitation of the Constitution Education Fund, Her Excellency, accompanied by Mr Wilson, visited the Australian Constitution Centre, High Court of Australia, Parkes, ACT.
In the morning, as a consequence of the Governor’s departure from the State, His Excellency the Honourable TF Bathurst AC, Lieutenant-Governor of New South Wales, assumed administration of the Government of New South Wales. In the evening, Her Excellency returned to Sydney and reassumed administration of the Government.
