In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson met with Bellingen Shire Council representatives at Bellingen Council Chambers, and toured Urunga Wetlands, Urunga.

Following this, the Governor and Mr Wilson visited Bellingen High School and met with student leaders, toured jewellery-making and robotics classes, and viewed a musical performance by the school orchestra.

In the afternoon, Her Excellency and Mr Wilson met with local and state government representatives and OzGREEN staff and volunteers involved in the Bellingen Riverwatch program and OzGREEN youth leadership initiatives, at Arthur Keough Reserve, Gleniffer.

Afterwards, the Governor and Mr Wilson met with members of the Housing Matters Action Group and other key stakeholders, at the Bellingen Youth Hub, Bellingen.

In the evening, Her Excellency, accompanied by Mr Wilson, officially reopened the Bellingen Memorial Hall.
