In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson met with members of the Murrin Bridge Local Aboriginal Land Council, in Lake Cargelligo, before visiting students, staff and parents at the Murrin Bridge Preschool.

Later in the morning, the Governor and Mr Wilson toured the Lake Cargelligo Multipurpose Health Service and met with health providers, hostel residents and representatives from local police and ambulance services. Afterwards, they visited Durotank, an Australian family-owned company which designs and manufactures fuel and water storage equipment.

Afterwards, the Vice-Regal couple met with participants and program leaders of Down the Track Youth Enterprises, an organisation helping young people to up-skill in positive based diversionary activities, education, and training, in Lake Cargelligo.

In the afternoon, the Governor and Mr Wilson hosted a Vice-Regal Community Afternoon Tea, with catering by the Bellawri branch of the Country Women’s Association, of which the Governor is Patron, at St Barnabus Anglican Church Hall, in West Wyalong. Afterwards, the Vice-Regal couple met with staff of the Murrumbidgee Local Health District, at the West Wyalong Hospital.

In the evening, the Vice-Regal couple attended a Bland Shire Council Civic Reception and Dinner, hosted by the Mayor, Councillor Brian Monaghan, at Wyalong Hall, West Wyalong.
