In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson received Mr Masahiko Kiya, Consul-General of Japan, Mr Soichi Igari, Consul, Councillor Bill West, Mayor, Cowra Shire Council, and Mr Bob Griffiths, Chairman, Cowra Japanese Garden & Cultural Centre, in the context of a virtual meeting facilitated by Government House Sydney.

In the afternoon, the Governor received Ms Sharon Taylor, Chair of the Orange Region Suicide Prevention Network, in a virtual meeting.

Later in the afternoon, Her Excellency attended a Memorial Service for the Honourable Justice Linda Ashford, at The Village Church, Saint Aidan’s, Annandale. Justice Ashford was formerly a Judge of the District Court of NSW, Judge of the Compensation Court of NSW, an Acting Judge of the Dust Diseases Tribunal of NSW and Commissioner of the Compensation Court of NSW.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Dennis Wilson attended the Polish State Awards Ceremony, hosted by the Consul-General of the Republic of Poland in Sydney, Ms Monika Konczyk, at the Polish Consulate, Woollahra.
